About Us

The Carolina Empowerment Group, Inc. (CEG) is a nonprofit community organization, which was established in 2006 to conduct HIV/AIDS awareness in the Charleston community. Its mission is to “Empower People Day by Day” through charitable, scientific and educational purposes, more specifically to community outreach and awareness programs.

The goal is to conduct educational and informational activities that increase public awareness about health disparities impacting the community including: HIV/AIDS, substance abuse, and teenage pregnancy.
