Natalia was one of three Americans chosen to participate in the MTV 48Fest Kenya program.
During the film challenge, 30 participants from around the world were divided into six teams to create a script, direct, produce and edit a short film regarding various HIV/AIDS issues within 48 hours. She was voted the team leader for the Green Team's film, entitled "Isolated", which addressed the stigma and discrimination associated with HIV/AIDS.
