History: The Carolina Empowerment Group, Inc. (CEG) is a nonprofit community organization, which was established in 2006 to conduct HIV/AIDS awareness in the Charleston community.
Mission: To "Empower People Day by Day" through charitable, scientific and educational purposes, more specifically to community outreach and awareness programs.
Goal: To conduct educational and informational activities that increase public awareness about issues impacting the community including: health disparities, substance abuse, and
teenage pregnancy.
